RPTS - The Residential Property Tribunal Service
The Residential Property Tribunal Service (RPTS) is an organisation housing a series of Rent Assessment Panels. These panels provide an independent, just and accessible tribunal service aimed at settling private rented and leasehold disputes across England from five regional offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge and Chichester. This service comes under three tribunal sectors; that of Rent Assessment Committees, Leasehold Valuation Tribunals and Residential Property Tribunals. Each of these allow for everything from fair rent disputes to appealing against the denial of the right to buy.
